Co-President

This is Colleen’s second year on the Board, she was the K-2 Parent Representative in 2015-2016. She has four children, two daughters at MTA (2nd Grade & Kindergarten), a son at MTA Pre-K, and a baby at home. She is the Leader of MTA Daisy Troop 400. Prior to having children, Colleen was a middle school teacher and hopes to return to the classroom in some capacity in the coming years.

This is Sonja’s second year on the Board, she was a Co-Vice President in 2015-2016. She has 3 daughters; Ashli a Madison #1, Sunnyslope, and ASU Alumni, Delaney is in 4th, and Sammi is in 2nd. She is a Software Consultant in the HR & Payroll industry. Sonja is very excited to be a member of the Guild and a part of the MTA Community.

Barton Dunn

Barton has 2 children, both at MTA, a daughter in 5th grade and a son in 2nd. This is his first year serving as Vice President. He was the President of the MTA Dad’s Club for 2014/2015 and 2015/2016. He owns Painting Arizona Inc., a commercial painting company. His favorite hobby, other than spending time with his children, is photography.

This is Sandi’s first year on the Guild Board. She is the mother of two boys at MTA, one entering 2nd grade and the other entering 1st. In addition to volunteering at MTA and raising her two boys, she works full time as a paralegal.

Brigitte Green

This is Brigitte’s first year on the Board. She and her husband have two children, a daughter (Spencer) who is a sophomore at Sunnyslope High School and attended MTA for 5th through 8th grades, and a son (Skyler) who is a 6th grader at MTA and has attended MTA since 1st grade. Brigitte works full-time as an attorney and has been actively involved with the Guild for the past four years.

This is Chris’ second year as Co-Treasurer. He has three students at MTA – all of whom started at MTA as kindergarteners; Josh (7th grade), Reagan (5th grade) and Layton (3rd grade). Chris works in finance full time and loves to be involved with the school that he and his wife Lisa are so proud to be a part of.

This Amy’s third year as a member of the Guild board. She has two students at MTA; Gwen is in 5th grade and Mirabel is in 4th grade. She works for a third party payroll/human resource provider. She is also a Girl Scout leader and loves cooking and gardening.

In charge of eHoots/Hoots N Hollers for a second year and liaison for Back to School packs/Teacher Supply Closet, Lunch Duty/Playground Support, and Library. She has two sons – Ryan a 7th grader at MTA and Connor a 5th grader in the REACH program at Madison #1. She is on the Women’s Auxiliary Board for NotMyKid non-profit and a tutor for the OASIS program in the Madison School District.

Amy has been a parent at Madison Traditional Academy for 9 years now with 3 boys attending the school; Jackson is in 8th, Finn is in 6th, and Cash headed to 2nd.

Patti Mousseau

3-5 Parent Representative

This is Patti’s first year as a Parent Rep. She is looking forward to the opportunity to support MTA. She has two daughters; Emily (7th grade), and Kate (5th grade). It is their fourth year at MTA. They love being involved with school activities, finding adventures, and spending time with friends. Patti works full time in clinical operations.

This is Heather’s first year on the Board. Her children have been attending MTA since 2008. Her oldest children now attend Sunnyslope and her other children are in 2nd, 6th and 8th grade at MTA. She has always been involved in some capacity of volunteering at MTA, including being a homeroom Mom several times, Art Masterpiece volunteer, Lost and Found chair, and co-chair of the Original Works program.  She looks forward to a great year helping the school that has given so much to her children.

This is Sam’s first year on the Guild Board but has been involved with the Dad’s Club for the last 3 years. He has 2 girls at MTA, one in 4th Grade and one in 2nd grade. He works for himself as a freight broker.
