Mad Money

Our purpose is to promote stores within our community and other programs which give money back to Madison Traditional Academy (MTA) at no additional cost to you!

Please sign up yourself, family, friends, neighbors and colleagues to help raise funds for MTA.

Go to eScrip.com and shop at the on‑line mall. Each store gives a percentage of your purchases back to MTA. There are also restaurants in our area which give a percentage back to MTA. Make sure to register your credit cards and debit cards on the eScrip website and link them to MTA’s account (Group ID #500016175) so a percentage of your online and restaurant purchases goes to MTA.

Fry’s Food Stores is giving up to $2 million per year to non-profit organizations like the Guild. Register your Fry’s VIP card online and enroll (or reenroll if you participated last year) in the 2016-17 program to link your card to MTA’s account (#80493).

If you shop online at amazon.com, use this link: http://smile.amazon.com/ch/56-2623499 and Amazon will donate 0.5% price of your eligible purchases to MTA.

Order gift cards through the Guild to use for your everyday purchases or gifts and MTA will receive a portion (between 1.5-30%) of the cost of each card purchased. Visit www.shopwithscrip.com and use enrollment code A9D684E935L82. Opt for prestopay when enrolling and make it nice and easy for MTA to receive the percentage of your purchases.

New program this year! Buy a new mattress from Tuft and Needle and 25% of the sale goes to MTA! You can purchase online by going to www.tuftandneedle.com/givesback and select MTA.

Cash & Coin Drive

Also new this year! This will be the big fall fundraiser and MidFirst bank will be adding funds as we reach specific dollar amounts. SAVE YOUR COINS FOR THIS BIG EVENT!

The Guild also participates in the Box Tops for Education, Labels for Education, and Coke Rewards programs. Please collect Box Tops, Campbells soup labels, and Coke bottle caps and box ends to earn money for MTA. Below are summaries of each program and how you can raise money for MTA at home.

We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week – or more. Now turn those shopping trips into easy cash for MTA, and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store. This program gives us 10¢ for every valid Box Top submitted. All you need to do to participate is clip the Box Tops label from the packages (must have expiration date) and turn them into your child’s teacher. Classes will receive rewards when they reach 750, 1500 and 2000 collected Box Tops. Schools can collect over $3,000 in one year – 10¢ at a time! Put out a collection box or envelope at work or at church! If you don’t collect Box Tops and turn them in to your child’s homeroom, then MTA loses free money. Chair: Lori Zirkle, lorizirkle@cox.net.

Collect barcode labels from Campbells soup, Prego pasta sauce, Swanson® broths, Pepperidge Farm breads, cookies, crackers & frozen products, Spaghettios, V8 Splash and V8 Fusion drinks. MTA accumulates points from the barcode labels and this allows the Guild to order items needed for the school. Let family and friends know to cut off these barcodes and in turn they can support public schools. Look for the picture above and don’t miss an opportunity to earn points for MTA. Chair: Rebecca Martinez, beccamartinez@cox.net.

MTA collects bottle tops, box ends and plastic wraps on Coke products with the Coke Rewards codes. Coke Rewards provide points to a school when the codes are entered on the Coke Rewards website. The points can then be donated to a school and the school can purchase equipment. The Guild has used these points to purchase lunchtime recess sports equipment (soccer goals, soccer balls, basketballs, ball cart, volleyballs, etc.) and office equipment (heavy-duty and electric staplers, hole punch, pens). Next time you purchase a Coke product, save the bottle top, the box end or plastic wrap with the Coke Rewards code and send it to school so that the points can be used to purchase equipment for MTA. Spread the word so that family and friends can help save the codes for MTA and turn trash into equipment for the school. Chair: Kelly Larabee, kelly@envoy2.com.
